Foreign Attorney
Attorney Chan Ho LEE is a senior foreign attorney, admitted in New York, and head of the Defense Industry Task Force Team. His practice focuses on advising on defense industry, legislation, regulatory administration, South-North Korean economic cooperation, and diplomatic security.
He passed the higher civil service examination in 1986 and worked in the Ministry of Unification until May 2010, where he took important posts, such as planning and budget officer, head of South-North exchanges division, head of South-North dialogue management division, etc. and then was dispatched to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs—he worked at Korean Embassies in the U.S. and Germany.
He has extensive experience in regulatory and legislative administration due to his 20 years’ work experience as an administrative public official. He is renowned for having expertise in diplomacy, security, and defense, more specifically, South-North Korean economic cooperation, and international trade negotiations.
Currently, he acts as a an advisory committee member of central and local governments, such as the Ministry of Unification, the Ministry of Government Legislation, and Gyeonggi-do, Gangwon-do and Incheon governments. He published many papers on South and North Korean relationship and economic cooperation.
